Social Care: Contextualised skills for Life
Course Description
This is a skill for life course which uses the theme of social care to develop learner’s literacy and numeracy skills. During the course learners will explore different modules including:
• Communicating in care
• Information at work
• Communication for care planning
• Developing yourself in the workplace
On completion of this course learners will be encouraged to take the national tests in literacy and numeracy.
Additional Information
Duration: 3 hours/week for 10 - 30 weeks.
