Risk Assessment


Course Description

Employers are legally required to carry out a process of risk assessment that will enable them to decide the policies, procedures and trained personnel that they must have in place to meet statutory health and safety requirements.

This is an invaluable course for people who undertake risk assessment in their workplace, or who are designated as competent persons for risk control, or who are responsible for health and safety policy.

The course covers the following topics:

• Health & safety legislation
• Identifying hazards
• Recording and reviewing risk assessments
• Practical workshop on hazard recognition

This course allows people to assess the risk of danger in the workplace or domestic environment.

Additional Information

Duration: The course is 6 hours long and is assessed throughout the course.
