Decorative & Faux Paint Finishes
Course Description
Ray Bradshaw will guide you through the art of Faux Paint Finishes. Week by week Ray will teach you how to work with different paints and glazes including:
• Latex
• Soft sheen
• Acrylic
• Eggshell, Flat & Gloss
• Emulsions, & Oils
• Base & Top Coats
• Scumble
• Undercoats & Primers
• Glazes & Pigments
Ray will introduce techniques each session to allow you to create an amazing range of Paint and Glaze effects including:
• Stippling
• Colour washing technique
• Dragging
• Blocking and shading
• Frottage
• Varnishing
Ray will guide you through all the stage of preparation explaining and simplifying the process and terminology as you go along. From stencilling to colour washing you’ll progress step-by-step in this hands-on workshop.
Additional Information
Whilst all paints and glazes used on the course are water soluble we would recommend that you wear appropriate clothing.
