Desk Top Publishing
Course Description
This course is designed for those with some experience of using a PC but who want to learn how to use desk top publishing (DTP). Study is largely practical, working on computers. You will have the chance to learn in a group and work with a tutor who is experienced in teaching adult learners. During the course some of the areas you will learn about include:
• Setting the page size and orientation
• Creating text areas
• Creating text frames
• Setting column widths and spacing
• Importing
• Placing and manipulating text and image files
By the end of the course you will have developed skills required to use desk top publishing (DTP).
