Basic First Aid
Course Description
Developed and delivered by St.John Ambulance this new style course reflects the needs of the modern workplace. This is a practical hands-on course which is flexible to meet individual needs.
This First Aid course covers basic protocols not including resuscitations.
Contents:
Bites & stings
Bleeding minor
Burns - minor
Choking
Communications & casualty care
Shock
Sprains and strains
Seizures in children
Unconscious casualty
Additional Information
Duration: 3 hours long, assessed throughout the course so no exam to pass. Children need to be 5+ years old and accompanied by at least one parent, carer or guardian.
